Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design packages for reactors, reactor systems, utilities, and tankage equipment, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Perform engineering calculations to determine equipment sizing, pressure drop, heat transfer requirements, and other critical parameters
• Collaborate with process engineers, operations, construction, HSSEQ… etc. to modify vessel drawings, and equipment layouts, and ensure designs meet process needs and safety considerations
• Work with other engineering disciplines (e.g., controls, electrical) to ensure seamless integration of all system components

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 Years Proven Experience in Chemical Process Design
• 60% office Setting/40% plant setting
• Strong track record building reactor systems
• Understanding of core engineering concepts for equipment design
• Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools like ChemCAD
• Knowledge of chemical equipment functionalities and limitations for selecting suitable equipment
• Ability to perform calculations for equipment sizing, pressure drop, and heat transfer
