Job Title: WelderJob Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled welders to join our weekend shift team. The position involves performing repair welds on parts that may be missed by robotic welders. It is crucial to meet production numbers while ensuring high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair welding on parts using MIG welding techniques.
• Set up jigs and fixtures by adjusting equipment to ensure the production of quality products.
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet production standards.
• Use necessary measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records and keep a clean work area.
• Follow verbal and written instructions pertaining to die and equipment operations.
• Perform various processes including fixture set-ups, buffing, spot welding, operating special welding fixtures, loading jigs, packing, deburring, sorting, and reworking parts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, with the ability to pass a welding test.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a welding capacity, either in farming or manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machine loading experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Work Environment

Work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment where conditions vary with the seasons, being hot in the summer and cool in the winter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.00/hr.
