Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Specialist that has experience managing, maintaining and reporting on a comprehensive project control system. As a Sr. Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for cost control, cash flow projections, performance reporting and document control. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. This is an onsite position, that can offer per diem.

Pay Rate: Pay will be dependent on experience level

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and performance through earned value management (EVM) and other performance measurement techniques.
• Lead the review, analysis and maintenance of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls on large industrial projects (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, mining, chemical).
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management and change management processes.
