Quality Systems Engineer II

Direct Hire

Location: Omaha NE

Schedule/hours : Hybrid- Onsite 3 days (After Training)

Travel: 25%-30% to other sites

Salary Range : $68,000-$109,000 annually

Benefits:

· 5% bonus (every 6 months)

· 15 days PTO (Paid Time Off) plus paid holidays.

Job Summary:

This position will support the plants and/or corporate functions in their process maturity as necessary towards full compliance with the ISO9001:2015 standard.

Required education:

5+ years related experience to Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100, etc.) BS- Engineering

OR

8+ years related experience to Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100, etc.) AS- Engineering

Required Skills:

Provide a strong foundation of knowledge (or knowing where to find the answers) when it comes to Quality Management System compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards, customer requirements, and corporate policies.

o Currently they do not have a firm system of reference for ensuring departmental compliance with ISO 9000

o Support other manufacturing facilities and/or cross-functional teams with development of quality management system initiative roadmaps.

o Supports all quality management system program activities including being an authority on ISO9001:2015 requirements with internal and customer auditors.

· Deep knowledge QMS (in any regulated environment), focus on continuous, improvement and strong computer, MS Suite, and PM Tool experience

o know enough to help develop some of those standardized processes while also growing with the company as they continue to establish compliance standards

· Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees, managers, leadership, business departments and other plants

o This person needs to be able to present and explain the who, what, why, how and so on when working with finance or plant managers, or supply chain etc..

· While manufacturing industry experience is not required it would be most ideal and helpful if someone has functional knowledge of manufacturing and can support functional operations at a plant and business/organizational level

Preferred Skills

· ASQ Certification (e.g. CQT, CQE, or CMQ/OE)

· Lead Quality Systems Auditor Certification

· Experience in use of Oracle software or Jira/Confluence

Pay Details: $68,000.00 to $109,000.00 per year
