Job Title: Receiving Department Associate
Job Description

Join our team in the receiving department where you'll play a crucial role in loading and unloading containers by hand. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining efficiency and accuracy while processing orders and managing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Process orders according to priority set by the Group Lead to meet customer requirements.
• Receive, pick, package, and label shipments following the Distribution SOP.
• Operate picking carts or powered industrial trucks to locate materials and fulfill orders.
• Complete paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
• Verify proper storage conditions of products and notify of any inventory issues such as Can’t Finds, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
• Ensure regular, reliable, and predictable attendance for adequate scheduling and coverage.
• Lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40-50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation.

Essential Skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to constantly stand and move around the department.
• Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Open to staying until all orders are processed.
• General warehouse experience preferred, especially in packaging.

Work Environment

Work in a distribution center for scientific equipment, catering primarily to schools, hospitals, and medical labs. Join a team of about 120 professionals divided into receiving, picking, and shipping departments. Enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
