WHAT YOU'LL DO

Today's employers need competitive healthcare and benefits to attract and retain talent, and our Benefits team plays a key role in making that happen. They help clients administer healthcare and voluntary benefits while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and providing support to employees.

Retirement Plan Consultant will serve as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for the ProService Multiple Employer Retirement Plan. The Retirement Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert and share their in-depth knowledge with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client expectations and service standards are met. The Retirement Consultant will maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors providing services related to the Retirement Plan. The Retirement Consultant will demonstrate a leading edge by anticipating client needs through analysis, identify areas of improvement and will initiate annual projects to continue to enhance the retirement service offerings.

  • Manage and direct vendor activities including but not limited to:
    • New and existing client set ups.
    • Daily administrative activities
    • Ensure all plan documents are followed accordingly (eligibility, vesting, etc.)
  • Consultative Services for Client and Internal Staff:
    • Accountable for completing the necessary requirements to meet the Proservice Retirement Plan Compliance.
    • Respond to and resolve client/employee retirement inquiries and issues by identifying the topic and type of assistance needed in accordance with service standards.
    • Train and educate internal stakeholders to confidently execute tasks related to retirement plans
    • Help guide and educate clients/employees on the fundamentals of 401(k) retirement benefits.
    • Research complex issues across multiple databases and work with internal service teams to resolve issues and/or partner with 401(k) plan vendors to resolve escalated issues.
  • Annual/Ongoing Retirement Plan Compliance:
    • Year-end compliance activities to include, reporting, auditing and compliance.
    • Partner with ProService Analyst Team to provide year-end reporting for the 401(k) Plan.
    • 401(k) Annual Audit and Filing of the Form 5500 completed by IRS deadline
    • Schedule and facilitate Quarterly or Semi-annual Fiduciary Committee Meetings.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. QKA certification a plus.
  • Must have at least 2 years of 401(k) Retirement Plan Administration experience. MEP 401(k) experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERISA regulations and Plan documents.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS such as UltiPro and HR Pyramid desired
