Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Revit Drafter to support our electrical engineering team in developing accurate and detailed electrical construction documents. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD , electrical experience REQUIRED!!

HYBRID role. Salary up to $75k MUST LIVE IN NJ!!! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce electrical drawings and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD under the direction of engineers and designers.

• Assist in the development of power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage system plans.

• Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, structural) to ensure accurate and cohesive design documents.

• Maintain and organize Revit models and drafting standards per company and client guidelines.

• Create and manage families and templates in Revit.

• Implement redlines and changes from design team.

• Participate in model coordination meetings and clash detection processes.

• Support QA/QC review of drawings and assist in revisions.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD (2021 or later).

• 2+ years of electrical drafting experience REQUIRED in the AEC industry, preferably with an electrical consulting firm.

• Understanding of electrical design concepts such as power distribution, lighting layout, and fire alarm systems.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.

• Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and BIM 360.

• Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes.

• Experience with commercial and institutional building projects.
