Drive Test Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drive Test Engineer to evaluate and optimize mobile network performance. In this role, you will use specialized equipment to measure key network parameters, including signal strength, data speed, call quality, and coverage. You will analyze collected data to assess network performance and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimal network functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Measurements: Conduct field measurements of mobile networks utilizing both fixed and portable test equipment.
• Equipment Management: Configure, operate, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain measurement equipment.
• Data Management: Import, validate, and systematically organize measurement data using relevant tools.
• Drive Testing: Plan and execute drive test routes, analyze data from multiple drive tests, and provide insights for network optimization.
• Troubleshooting: Direct troubleshooting efforts for field teams and resolve equipment issues on-site.
• Coordination: Work closely with senior engineers, project team members, and the RF Engineering Team to ensure alignment and project success.
• Process Creation: Develop and implement processes to streamline data collection and improve efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of various equipment to ensure availability and readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• 3months and above in drive testing and performance evaluation of mobile networks.
• Proficiency in configuring, operating, and maintaining measurement equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data management and validation.
• Ability to plan and execute drive test routes effectively.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving field equipment issues.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for collaboration with various teams.
• Willingness to travel between markets as needed and work on weekends.
