The RF Engineer owns the support and effectiveness of installed Wireless Medical Telemetry System (WMTS) antenna systems. This position is critical to the development of the next generation WMTS, and acts as a focal point/contact for all installations and remediation of systems previously installed.

Type : 12+ month Contract
Salary : $40/hrly – $52/hrly (W2)
Location : Onsite – Irvine, CA

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design and validate new solutions

• May lead onsite support activities related to troubleshooting and resolution of client WMTS customer support issues

• Train Tech Support on WMTS

• Utilizing high touch customer focused technical organizational skills

• Technical troubleshooting of medical Devices and related equipment

• Train Installers on RF and testing of medical devices

• Certify Installers on comprehension

• Audit installs and testing results

• Train Design Team and audit designs

• Validate WMTS components

• Secure secondary suppliers

• Effectively participates and technically advises multiple complex patient monitoring teams.

• Works cohesively with various specialties including construction, IT, electrical, and similar departments, and staff.

• Utilizes Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant programs pertaining to products and product documentation.

• Works in partnership with the sales account executives and all other team members as the assigned WMTS service focused representative.

• May be assigned reactively for a time to support getting a dissatisfied client with escalated issues, to manage and ensure resolution of all concerns and successfully complete the client’s needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline

• 5+ years of experience in WMTS/RF

• Past client relationship management experience

• Strong technical knowledge of products and systems

• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English

• Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent planning and organizational skills

Pay Details: $40.00 to $53.00 per hour
