RN - House Supervisor PRN at Central Carolina Hospital summary:

As an RN House Supervisor PRN, I administratively coordinate and manage hospital activities during each shift, ensuring effective staffing and patient flow. I collaborate closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and other administrative team members to maintain high-quality patient care and support nursing leadership development. My role includes overseeing patient admissions and general supervision of hospital operations in a 137-bed acute care facility.

Position Summary:

Administratively coordinates and manages hospital activities on a per shift basis under the direction of CNO or AOC. Responsible for staffing patient care areas, coordinating patient admissions, managing flow of patients throughout the hospital and general supervision of hospital. Maintains own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure. Communicates important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education

Associate's degree is required

Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Required Licenses

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required

Required Certification:

American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire

ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

PALS is required within 6 months of hire
