Job Description

A 0.5 FTE Social Worker position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 elementary school location in Naperville, IL. This contract role requires the candidate to be physically present on-site, as remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work support and counseling services to students in grades K-5.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Facilitate group and individual sessions focusing on social skills, conflict resolution, and coping strategies.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker credential preferred.
• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to in-person service delivery on school premises.
