Salary: $28-31/hour

Location Requirement:

To be eligible for this role you must be located in Guam.

Position Summary:

The SOC Analyst is responsible for analyzing and responding to cyber threats. The SOC Analyst will operate and tune security tools to perform cyber security services for client networks. The SOC Analyst will perform other maintenance & patching activities as assigned to support the cybersecurity posture of OSIbeyonds clients

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work and complete assigned tickets according to SOPs
• Monitor client environments for security threats
• Perform regularly scheduled vulnerability scanning and penetration testing and manage remediation of identified issues
• Analyze cloud environments, servers, workstations and other devices suspected to be compromised
• Provide high quality written and verbal customer service
• Accurately track and document all work
• Maintenance activities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Experience

• 3+years ofrelatedexperienceincluding either system administration or cybersecurity
• Experience administering Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and on-premise Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Windows Serverand Windows 10
• Familiarity withlog, event or security management platforms such as Logstash and Splunk
• Experience in working with help desk ticketing software such asZendesk orConnectwise

Education andCertifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field(required)
• ComptiaSecurity+(required)
• ComptiaCySA+or equivalent (stronglypreferred)

Other Skills

• Demonstratedongoing professionalinterest in cybersecurity
• Ability to speak confidently and comfortably with clients and vendors as needed to see incidents through resolution
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong communicator, both written & verbal
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshootingabilities
• Must possess a current and valid drivers license
