As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Patrol - Overnight Shift in Abbeville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help maintain order and provide a visible presence. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
