Overview: We are seeking a Biostatistician to support our research and development teams by providing statistical expertise. This role involves working on clinical trials, patient safety assessments, and other scientific research initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design and execution of clinical trials and scientific studies. Develop statistical analysis plans and mock table, figure, and listing (TFL) shells or safety analysis plans. Assist in overseeing the work of contract research organizations (CROs) and ensure quality control of deliverables. Collaborate with Statistical Programming teams to review and verify programming outputs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Support the selection of appropriate data collection instruments and identify data inconsistencies or violations of study assumptions. Provide programming specifications for derived variables and analysis datasets. Work with Data Management to prepare for database lock. Perform statistical analyses as outlined in analysis plans. Ensure the integrity and internal consistency of reports, publications, and statistical components of scientific documents. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Data Management, Medical, and PK/PD teams, to ensure alignment and quality outcomes. Qualifications: This role is primarily on-site, though remote candidates may be considered based on qualifications. Master’s degree (10+ years of experience) or Ph.D. (7+ years of experience) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. Strong technical competence and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in SAS and R programming is required. Ability to perform statistical computations and simulations. Skilled in identifying data or analytical issues and formulating solutions, either independently or through collaboration. Strong ability to build relationships with peers and cross-functional teams to drive performance. Highly motivated to foster innovation and challenge existing processes.
