LaSalle Network is partnering with an MSP organization that is seeking to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer to their team. Successful candidates should have expert knowledge and skills required for installing, designing and supporting environments that include Microsoft's Cloud Services of Azure and O365 offerings. This position requires the ability to work onsite in Downers Grove 1 day per week. Senior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities: Lead the design, installation and support of cloud infrastructure solutions with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Execute projects including assessments, consulting engagements, new deployments, upgrades and break-fix services Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for internal teams, clients and the sales team Develop and share knowledge with the engineering team through organized sessions like lunch-and-learns Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards Document technical designs, customer environments and operational procedures in detail Work with managed services support teams to transition knowledge and contribute to operational efficiency Provide regular progress updates to customers, project managers and NOC Analysts Senior Cloud Engineer Requirements: 10+ years of experience in systems infrastructure design, support and administration 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Azure experience: AD, storage, compute (e.g., VMs, Application Proxy, Backup, Automation) Identity Management: SSO (SAML), OAuth, MFA, RBAC, PIM, AD Connect and hybrid identity management Networking knowledge: ExpressRoute, VNet, Virtual WAN, VPN, Load Balancers, firewalls and routing protocols Endpoint Management: Intune, Autopilot and Defender for Endpoint Microsoft 365: Security, Compliance, Information Protection, Exchange (Online/On-Prem), EOP and Defender for 365 Experience with Mimecast and other email security tools Certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 preferred Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions Experience creating detailed documentation and diagrams with tools like Visio Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
