LHH has partnered with a leading consulting firm on this highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant temporary position. This role offers a very flexible hybrid work environment in NYC that is ideal for professionals who value autonomy and work-life balance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance team through month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end close processes.

• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP.

• Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.

• Perform hands-on accounting transactions such as cash applications and invoicing.

• Support audit and compliance activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of SAP (preferred) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

• Proven experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a predominantly remote environment.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $38.00 per hour
