Confidential Search: Senior Vice President of Communications & TV - Christian Broadcast Television Position: Senior Vice President of Communications & TV Location: Confidential Industry: Christian Broadcast Television Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Vice President of Communications & TV to lead, innovate, and expand our Christian broadcast television program. This executive role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the Christian faith, extensive experience in broadcast television, and the ability to drive impactful communications strategies in alignment with the ministry’s mission. Responsibilities: - Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive broadcast strategy that aligns with organizational goals and Christian values, driving audience engagement and expanding reach across multiple platforms. - Content Leadership: Oversee the creative direction, production, and distribution of television content, ensuring quality and relevance for a Christian audience. Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and lead the content strategy for magazines, books, and digital publishing, ensuring all content aligns with the organization's mission, brand voice, and target audience needs. - Editorial Oversight: Supervise editorial processes from concept to publication, including content planning, development, editing, and final approvals for magazines, books, and digital publications. - Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with marketing, design, and digital teams to align on visual and narrative content, drive cohesive brand messaging, and amplify content reach. - Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team across communications and television departments, fostering a collaborative, faith-centered culture. - Partnership & Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with ministry partners, networks, and other stakeholders to further program reach and influence. - Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all communication channels and programming. - Data & Analytics: Leverage audience insights and data analytics to inform content development and communication strategies, optimizing viewer engagement. Qualifications: - 10 years of senior leadership experience in communications and/or broadcast television, with a proven track record of success. - Strong alignment with Christian values, with experience in a faith-based environment preferred. - Expertise in broadcast programming, content production, and multi-platform media distribution. - Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams in a mission-driven context. - Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that grow audience reach and impact. - Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working collaboratively with executives, partners, and stakeholders.
