Job Description

Remote SEO Specialist

Are you a seasoned SEO professional looking for an exciting remote opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position involves close collaboration with our Marketing and Development departments, and is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. Fluency in English is a must.

Please Note:

We require candidates with a minimum of 7 years of professional SEO experience. This role focuses on task execution and meeting deadlines efficiently.

Position Overview:

We are in search of an SEO Specialist to lead our SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword research. While a background in both agency and corporate environments is preferred, the most important attribute is an analytical and perceptive mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Up-to-date knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is crucial for this role. Your primary objective will be to ensure our content is search-engine friendly and optimized to enhance our profitability. Experience with backlinking and outreach is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective SEO strategies.
Coordinate activities related to content, design, social media, PPC marketing, and other initiatives.
Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects, and report on their performance.
Create and execute strategic link-building plans using innovative methods and measure their effectiveness.
Avoid using outdated techniques like Web 2.0, focusing instead on effective methods such as PPT, PDFs, Classified Submissions, and Social Bookmarking.

Core Duties:

Conduct keyword research to guide the content team.
Review and address technical SEO issues.
Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
Oversee off-page optimization projects, including link-building.
Gather data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics.
Collaborate with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns.
Stay informed about the latest SEO and integrated marketing trends.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
Thorough knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
Proficiency in SEO reporting.
Experience with Local SEO and NAP submissions.
Expertise in using SEO tools (e.g., Conductor, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Majestic, SpyFu, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
Ability to acquire white hat backlinks with high domain and page authority from high-traffic websites.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Analytical mindset with strong numerical aptitude.
BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Availability for twice-weekly check-in meetings via Zoom (PST mornings).

Additional Considerations:

Professional references are highly appreciated.
Established experience in the industry and remote working.
Ability to provide a portfolio or case studies of past projects.
Experience with cross-functional platforms like Slack, Asana, Trello, and Hubstaff.

Join us and leverage your SEO expertise to drive our digital marketing success. If you are self-motivated, highly organized, and ready to take on new challenges in a remote setting, we would love to hear from you!
