About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development and customization, with a passion for creating seamless, high-converting online shopping experiences. You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our Shopify stores, integrating third-party apps, and collaborating with designers, marketers, and other developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Shopify-based websites, themes, and apps.
Customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Liquid.
Create responsive and visually appealing e-commerce pages optimized for user experience and performance.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and marketers to translate designs and requirements into functional online stores.
Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps to enhance store functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Stay up to date with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and e-commerce trends.
Optimize site speed, SEO, and overall performance across devices.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
Strong proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, ES6+), and JSON.
Familiarity with Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, etc.) and webhooks.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
Familiarity with graphic editing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is a bonus.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
Experience with headless Shopify or Hydrogen/Remix.
Knowledge of React.js or Vue.js.
Familiarity with payment gateways, shipping APIs, and ERP integrations.
Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Shopify Analytics.
