A high school teaching position is available for a Spanish educator to work with students on language acquisition, cultural understanding, and literary exploration. This contract role for the current school year focuses on delivering comprehensive Spanish lessons, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, while enriching students knowledge of the history and culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

Location: Williamsburg, VA
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Teach Spanish language skills emphasizing grammar, vocabulary, and conversation
• Introduce students to cultural, historical, and literary aspects of Spanish-speaking countries
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to enhance learning outcomes
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Spanish Teaching License with Spanish Endorsement preferred
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• At least 2 years of recent teaching experience preferred
