NOTICE OF VACANCY

Extra-Curricular Professional Position



Position Title: Special Education Test Administrator County Wide
(1 Position for Pre-K)
(1 Position for K-12)



Job Duties:

• Receive assessment request from the Special Education Secretary via email.
• Schedule assessment session for students referred for developmental or achievement testing at the student's school or other location if necessary.
• Prepare all assessment materials prior to the testing session.
• Ensure all assessment materials are secure at all times.
• Ensure the testing environment is quiet and comfortable for the student.
• Develop a positive rapport with students being tested.
• Administer achievement assessments with fidelity to the testing protocol.
• Score assessment and prepare reports for the Eligibility meeting.
• Ensure all assessments and reports are completed during the timeline.
• Return completed assessment booklet to the Office of Special Education.

Qualifications :

• Valid WV teaching certificate in special education preferred.

Effective Date :

• Immediately upon hire

Salary :

• $25 per hour based on the number of students to be tested.
