Location: Brentwood, TN (On-site)
Duration: Spring 2025 Semester (mid-January – April/May)
Hours: 15-20 hours per week (can be split between 2-4 days in-office)
Paid Internship, $12.50/hour

Position Summary: As an intern with the marketing team, you will have the opportunity to explore all areas of marketing – from operations to content, analytics, design and demand generation.
You will play a crucial role in supporting BluWave's efforts to engage our unique audience of private equity firms, portfolio companies and private and public companies through content creation, social media, and data & analytics projects.
This position presents a remarkable opportunity to gain firsthand experience in marketing strategies and brand communication in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. As you explore projects and what areas of marketing interest you, projects will be able to be tailored to your areas of interest.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing content strategies to enhance BluWave's brand presence across various digital platforms.
- Contribute to the creation of engaging, high-quality content for our blogs, one-pagers, special reports and more.
- Contribute to and refine our SEO strategy.
- Support the marketing team with research on industry trends and content ideas to keep BluWave at the forefront of innovation.
- Brainstorming fresh, creative ideas to create content that will engage current and potential clients and increase conversions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive brand message and identity.
- Assist in analyzing content performance metrics with GA4 and other tools to optimize strategy.
- Support BluWave’s social media strategy, including but not limited to, creating a content calendar for Instagram and engaging with other brands on Linkedin.
- Support marketing’s data enhancement and marketing operations efforts.
- Assist in the development of various branded assets through the use of design templates.

- Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills with a knack for storytelling.
- A sharp attention to detail and a love for solving puzzles.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Currently enrolled in a marketing, communications, or related program with a demonstrated track record of success.
