Sr. Front-End Web Developer - Angular 17+, - REMOTE WORK - 62655

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Sr. Front-End Web Developer - Angular 17+, to work on Remote basis.

Pay Rate: $55-$70/hr

Must Haves :

• 6+ years of General UI Developing experience with hands on experience using Google Angular Material Component Library version 17+ and Angular 17+.
• Angular material experience (Google's implementation of it and how to customize it and where it makes sense to customize vs. not) is the most important skill

The Multifamily UX team is an important part of our Customer Experience team. On top of traditional CX and the analysis of measurement and metrics, we are a trusted partner in our digital transformation, responsible for UX and HCD. We ensure that the design of our technical solutions represents and meet the needs of our customers by gaining a true appreciation for them and putting them at the center of our decision-making process. The team provides perspective, ideas, as well as concepts through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, usability tests, etc. Together, we influence the direction, prioritization, and development within our agile teams.
Your Impact:
We believe that a design system should emerge from the needs of our teams and are looking for a strong Design System Engineer excited to put users first. You will be part of a team with extensive ownership and the ability to help set best practices and contribute to improvements. As a craft leader, you'll be responsible for contributing to the vision, strategy, and development of the OneRoof design system. You will advocate for our reusable design elements and its corresponding code to improve efficiency, scalability, and standardization across enterprise applications. Additionally, you will be proactive in spearheading new initiatives, coding, and documenting components, building design system tooling to improve workflows and overseeing UI component design while providing timely feedback in reviews to improve system guidelines. You will think and plan strategically for short and long-term initiatives to continue shaping the product.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Design preferred or equivalent work

experience with a minimum of 4-7+ years of experience with front-end development and 2+
years of experience building design systems
Experience in front-end software development using the AngularJS framework
Strong TypeScript and CSS skills
Experience developing and integrating design systems or component libraries assisting front-end
developers
Expert at building design tokens
Experience with accessible systems
Comfortable with CI/CD and monorepo tooling

Able to collaborate, understand, and work with UX design, Agile product development, and
architecture teams
Experience with Figma, Storybook or other Design System Management tools
Proficient at writing technical documentation

OTHER NOTES:

• Shared services team, tasked with building internal component library supporting a portfolio of 15-20 teams that require UI work (building off of angular and extending to bringing in those components and making sure they match those ecosystems and IDing where they would need to build out some custom components)
• Agile teams, 2-week sprints (designer and analyst on board to work and support the development)
• Values someone with very strong tech skills over industry experience
• East coast time zone probably preferred but they're flexible
• Will not be responsible for UX work but background/experience in UX is going to be important from the developer POV
• A portfolio link on the resume would be helpful but not necessary
• Any experience with the figma design tool is a great plus
• Biggest challenges are around change management and making sure they maintain the integrity of the old systems that are out there while introducing the new stuff in a strategic way
  • A lot of that involves audits by their team and making sure that they're taking account of the implementations that are out there already and also trying to forecast as much as they can
• Strong CI/CD experience is a nice to have but limited experience would still be OK
• Brand new team and role (not a backfill)
• The team migrates every year or so will come up around Q4/Q1 so migration will be involved
• Angular material experience (google's implementation of it and how to customize it and where it makes sense to customize vs. not) is the most important skill
  • Someone that is very fast and can help the team based off the clear road map that they have already
