We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead our SRE teams. You will craft strategic direction, helping Xometry build cost-effective, secure, fast, and reliable systems for our global manufacturing marketplace. Responsibilities: Define standards, metrics, and practices with engineering, product, and program management leaders to improve operational rigor, efficiency, and engineering velocity. Establish automated and self-service strategies to enhance operational efficiency and developer self-sufficiency. Champion and measure observability, monitoring, and metrics practices. Supervise development, configuration, and maintenance of underlying platforms such as AWS accounts, networking, Kubernetes clusters, and similar systems. Oversee development, configuration, and maintenance of observability and monitoring tools. Manage development, configuration, and maintenance of software development (CI/CD) tools like GitHub Actions Runners, ArgoCD, etc. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software development and site reliability within a fast-paced, product-driven environment, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience. An iterative approach to balancing short-term priorities with long-term system architecture goals. Proven experience in building and leading high-performing SRE teams. Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and observability in distributed systems. Experience in defining and operationalizing SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
