The Glencoe Junior High Project (GJHP), a 50+ year-old nonprofit organization, is seeking a candidate to serve as Stage Crew Manager for its Spring Musical: Mean Girls . The GJHP Musical is a no-cut (but high quality!) program featuring 40-50 Glencoe 6th-8th graders. The Stage Crew is limited to a maximum of 10-12 students.

This is one of the largest productions in the area, with a professional creative team providing an experience like those at New Trier High School, including exciting dances, awesome harmonies, great costumes, and a live band. The large proscenium-style theater is transformed with a large set and professional lights & sound.

Although this is a middle school show, it is a large-scale production with a long history in the community. GJHP employs a professional team to provide a high-quality experience for students and audiences.

The stipend for the position is $1000.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Train, assign and manage student crew and volunteers from initial meetings thru strike
Collaborate with the Director to develop and fulfill prop lists, create run sheets, etc.
Research and purchase necessary materials with approval of Director / Producer
Maintain safe and positive learning environment
Cultivate positive/collaborative relationships with production team, students & volunteers
