Your Space Self Store is a growing company in the Central Florida area and looking for strong professionals to join our team.

Job Description

An independent, professional-minded team player who is motivated and can be trusted to make decisions with sound judgment (after training) is needed for this position.. Salary is slightly negotiable depending on experience.

You will be responsible for:

  • Rental of self-storage units
  • Retail sales
  • Providing excellent service to new and existing customers
  • Keeping the property and office clean and tidy.
  • You must be able to perform lock checks, show units to customers. This isn’t just a desk job.
  • Schedule employees for office and maintenance coverage.
  • Accept rental payments and make daily bank deposits
  • Purchasing supplies and go to the post office
  • Prepare and complete auctions
  • Ensure the proper training of all on-site personnel.
  • Off-site marketing twice a month
  • Performing other tasks as assigned for the successful operation of the company.
  • Assist in budget preparation.
  • Prepare reports as required by corporate.

  • NO NIGHT HOURS! This store is open from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday, and 9:00 am -3:00 pm on Saturday. The manager's regular schedule would be Monday thru Friday with flexibility to work on Saturdays.
  • The ability to work face-to-face with customers and build excellent rapport while enhancing your customer service and sales skills and experience
  • You will be able to walk around the property performing lock checks and showing units to customers. This isn’t a boring desk job.

Other things to note:

  • Because you’ll need to make bank deposits, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required.
  • Every candidate considered for employment must agree to a background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Some of the physical requirements of the job include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing the storage doors (up to 40 lbs), and similar light activities.

Other duties will be discussed in the face-to-face interview.

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (i.e. retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, front desk, site management, and/or other customer-centered sales roles)
  • 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role is helpful, but not required
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Valid Driver’s License with access to reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, a college education is a plus
