The Systems Integrator will support the JETS II contract in Houston, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understands complex systems, particularly interfaces and interdependencies.
• Able to apply model-based systems engineering best practices to developing models of systems.
• Experienced developing interface control documents.
• Experienced with software development and various architectures.
• Experienced with autonomous systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Must have space industry or DoD work experience.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Must have 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with software verification and validation process.
• Experience with complex distributed systems.
• Experience with developing software using C/C++ in a Linux environment.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG.
• Experience with web-based collaboration tools.

DESIRED:

• Experience with tools such as, Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, SharePoint.
• Strong evidence of success in highly collaborative projects/environments.
• Ability to succeed in fast-paced environments.
• Possess strong technical expertise combined with verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision.
• Must be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic.
• Must have highly developed coordination and organization skills.
• Excellent communicator, particularly written communication and visual diagram creation.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and with agile software development.
• Experience with NASA software and systems development standards.
• Experience with NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software including the Core Flight System (CFS) software infrastructure.

WORK LOCATION:

• This position is located onsite.
• This position offers a 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off.
• This position may require some travel.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen; some contracts require participation in periodic random drug and alcohol screening programs.

STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• All of Bastion's employees must be team players.
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.
• Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Must have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time).
• May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
