Technical Writer


100% Remote

Essential Job Duties (We'll trust you to):

• Develop a strong understanding of our end users and product suite



• Maintain our external-facing support sites (Zendesk) with up-to-date documentation and help articles



• Research, draft, and design client-facing documentation including user guides, feature tours (in-product tool), contextual help prompts, FAQs, and release notes and summaries.



• Manage a high volume of projects to keep pace with multiple development teams



• Adhere to style guides for a suite of standard documentation deliverables



• Generate creative ideas to evolve our styles, processes, and tools



• Support the development of internal process documentation

Minimum Qualifications (You'll need to have):

• 3+ years of technical writing experience or related field



• Ability to comprehend and translate technical concepts for a variety of audiences



• Ability to create informative, accurate, and user-friendly software documentation



• Strong project management skills, including experience in managing and organizing multiple projects with variable timelines.



• Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff and management, including business specialists, product managers, engineers, and senior management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred (we'd love to see):

• Experience with instructional writing or design



• Experience developing documentation for enterprise (B2B) software applications or other relevant writing experience



• Experience creating and maintaining documentation for multiple product variants or custom deployments



• ; basic HTML and CSS



• Experience with MS Word, Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop, InCopy, and Acrobat Pro





• A good understanding of B2B software



• Experience with grants management
