Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Test Technician to support a manufacturing operation producing electrical equipment. In this role, you will perform testing and verification throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

This is a shop-floor role ideal for technicians with manufacturing and electrical experience who are comfortable reading prints, using meters, and verifying electrical builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and functional testing on equipment during various stages of manufacturing
• Verify materials, wiring, and assemblies against drawings and specifications
• Use meters and basic test equipment to confirm proper electrical performance
• Identify issues or discrepancies and recommend solutions
• Accurately document test and inspection results
• Ensure adherence to electrical standards and customer requirements
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand one-lines, schematics, and ladder diagrams
• Experience verifying electrical components using meters
• Ability to review engineering drawings and specifications for conformance
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Preferred (Not Required)

  • Journeyman Electrician or similar background
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities electrical work
  • Exposure to electrical standards (UL, ETL, CSA, NEC)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and basic computer systems (ERP/MRP, Microsoft 365)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
