Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused team member to join our UPS Store team! As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing shipments, and performing various store duties.
Important Note:
- The UPS Store is an independently owned and operated franchise, and this position is not affiliated with UPS driver or warehouse positions.
- This role is specific to our retail store location and does not involve driving or warehouse work for UPS.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about UPS services
- Process shipments, including packaging and labeling packages
- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
