\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nMRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
\n• 1+ years of experience required
\n• Required certifications: Obtained ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry or Advanced register eligible
\n• Must be proficient at venipuncture
\n• No call requirements or float requirements
\n• Dress code requires black scrubs
\n• Work with EPIC EMR system
\n• Perform patient assessment using appropriate policies, protocols and standards of practice
\n• Evaluate orders, document contrast and patient responses before, during and after imaging procedures
\n• Screen for safety precautions while patients and staff are in the MRI suite
\n• Monitor MRI equipment safety including helium pressure and safety zones
\n• Provide patient education based on individual patient needs and learning readiness
\n• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures, contrast orders and screening documentation
\n• Verify patient data and exam orders to ensure accuracy
\n• Work with physicians on PACS system
\n• Screen all patients, visitors and staff for MRI contraindications
\n• Verify metallic implants are MRI compatible
\n• Maintain and monitor MRI equipment for unsafe conditions
