Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Must have CT experience and provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position
\n• Provide radiographic/sonographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
\n• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection
\n• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas
\n• Maintain patient records and files and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program
\n• Must be able to work with patients of all age groups from newborn to geriatric adults
\n• Must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
\n• Must be able to perform duties in two fields of imaging and work outside of modality (Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography)
\n• Rotate shifts as required and work well in stressful situations
\n• Transfer patients to and from radiology and assume department responsibility in supervisor's absence
\n• Required certifications: Current ARRT in Radiography or Current ARDMS in one category, BLS certification required within 45 days of start
\n• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
\n• Must pursue continuing education and maintain competency in ancillary modality
\n• Responsible for equipment care, record maintenance, and assisting with invasive procedures
\n• Must be able to perform venipuncture and follow standard precautions procedures
\n• Competent in sterile technique and tele-radiology transmission
\n• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address to be eligible for traveler position
