\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work either 4 ten-hour shifts (0700-1730) or 3 twelve-hour shifts (0700-1930)
\n• No guaranteed block scheduling
\n• 1-2 call shifts per week (Monday-Thursday) with call starting after your shift until 0700 the next morning
\n• 30-minute callback response time required
\n• 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks starting at end of shift Friday until 0700 Monday
\n• No scheduled weekend shifts - call only
\n• Holiday coverage on call basis per department need
\n• Will work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays with no RTO approved around Christmas and New Year's
\n• Neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required - no exceptions
\n• Must be able to function independently in neurosurgery
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• First-time travelers not accepted
\n• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
\n• EPIC charting system experience required
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1
\n• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
\n• No license hits accepted
\n• Manager interview required with clinical pre-screening
Facility:
\nThis major healthcare facility operates an 18-room operating department within a 593-bed hospital system. The facility maintains a daily census of 50-60 patients and provides comprehensive surgical services including neurosurgery, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
