• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts (01805) – Greater Boston area\n
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing job\n
• Unit: Nursing Float Pool with PCU focus\n
• Start Date: January 19, 2026\n
• End Date: April 18, 2026\n
• Duration: 13-week contract\n
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)\n
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a), rotating every 4 weeks between days and nights\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (days: Sat/Sun; nights: Fri/Sat/Sun)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts nursing license preferred\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, progressive care, or acute care nursing experience\n
• BLS (AHA) certification required\n
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications preferred\n
• Epic EMR experience required\n
• Ability to titrate pressors and perform advanced cardiac monitoring\n
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel nurse experience\n
• Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months if previously employed\n

\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients in a float pool environment\n
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other clinical boarding units as needed\n
• Manage patient ratios between 1:3-5\n
• Titrate pressors and provide advanced cardiac monitoring\n
• Document patient care and assessments accurately in Epic EMR\n
• Participate in day one pass/fail testing and ongoing competency assessments\n
• Adapt to rotating shifts and flexible floating assignments (floating may occur in 4-hour blocks)\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
