ProKatchers is seeking a travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Delano, California.
Job Title: Registered Dietitian
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: Monday-Friday - Weekend coverage will not be needed.
Description:
The position will cover acute inpatient as well as likely their long term sub-acute unit.
Provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents identified with special needs and/or those who meet nutritional risk criteria.
Provides nutritional care which includes patient assessment and reassessment, patient and family education, interdisciplinary communication, nutritional plan of care development, and documentation of all interventions in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards.
Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner, utilizing appropriate technical and decision-making skills
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent: Required
Master's Degree: Required, only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24
Licensing/Certification:
Registered Dietitian (RD) within 6 months of completion of residency program: Required
California State Certification or licensure
BLS Certification
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of clinical nutrition experience
Experience as a Clinical Dietitian: Preferred
Dietetic internship or its equivalent: Required
