Job Description
Salary: $20 - $28 per hour (DOE)
Role & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for ensuring that all client requested milestones and metrics are being met to exceed client expectations. Work closely with origin or destination stations to proactively identify and solve any issues that may be lead to service failures. Proactively drive quick resolutions.
· Monitor day-to-day account business operations and freight tracking to ensure Morrison meets KPI metrics.
§ Assist stations as needed on various tasks including data entry, arrival confirmations, broker notifications, appointment arrangements, arrangement of delivery trucks, billing issues, claims etc.
· Maintain weekly, monthly, yearly transit data and compile into weekly reports on prior week performance.
· Implement on-boarding of new business and enforce client specific SOP’s to ensure compliance throughout Morrison Organization.
· Communicate updates, issues, and solutions to client contacts as needed and serve as local point of contact for account and within Morrison.
· Become fluent with the account’s requirements and on Morrison’s capabilities and strengths.
· Gather and analyze data elements required for reporting and Customer Business Reviews.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: ·
Minimum 3 years’ experience in International Freight Forwarding industry, with an emphasis of working knowledge in ocean operations for export and import.
· Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
· Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement.
· Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems.
· Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally.
· Candidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team.
