Baldwin Supply Company is the premier independent distributor of mechanical power transmission, conveyor belts, and electrical control products in the Upper Midwest. We are looking for an experienced Forklift Warehouse Associate to join our team at our corporate Headquarters in Plymouth .

Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary to load and unload freight
• Locate freight into racking, replenish primary picking locations and assemble orders
• Maintain forklift safety log and communicate with the Warehouse Manager about necessary maintenance
• Pick and pack orders by instructions as assigned
• Assist with check-in of received items as requested
• Return of equipment to designated area at end of day
• General daily clean up and sweeping, emptying of garbage and cardboard
• Follow all safety regulations including wearing proper safety equipment

Work Experience & Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience, 2-5 years preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment (ie: forklift)

Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication, listening, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
• Dependable and Reliable
• Inventory, data entry and computer skills required
• Ability to bend and lift heavy objects (10-25 lbs. frequently up to 50 lbs. occasionally)

Occasionally required to sit. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional warehouse environment with outside weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation:

Several factors including industry knowledge, work experience and skill set will be used in salary determination. The total compensation package will consist of base wage plus potential branch bonus; to be discussed as part of the interview process. The base pay range for this position is $20 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
