Web Designer Contractor

We are seeking a Web Designer Contractor to join our team on a project basis. This role is perfect for a talented and creative web designer passionate about user experience, responsive design, and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop visually compelling, responsive websites that align with client branding and objectives.
• Wireframing & Prototyping – Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Collaboration – Work with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless website functionality.
• UI/UX Optimization – Implement best practices for user experience, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Website Maintenance – Assist with updates, redesigns, and performance enhancements for existing websites.
• SEO & Performance – Ensure website designs are optimized for search engines and page speed.
• Client Interaction – Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2+ years of web design experience, preferably in an agency or freelance setting.
• Design Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, or similar design tools.
• Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (coding is a plus but not required).
• CMS Experience: Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
• Communication: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for typography, color, layout, and branding consistency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing for digital marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
• Understanding of UX research and A/B testing.
• Ability to integrate animations and interactive design elements.
