Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator proficient in reading blueprints and assembly instructions. The primary welding practices used in builds include MIG welding and gas-shielded flux core welding. You will work with materials ranging from 16 gauge to 0.5-inch carbon steel and ensure that all product specifications and dimensions are met. You will also design and build fixtures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Perform MIG and gas-shielded flux core welding.
• Work with 16 gauge to 0.5-inch carbon steel.
• Ensure product specifications and dimensions are met.
• Design and build fixtures for various projects.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in welding and fabricating.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and production processes.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate metal fabricating machinery.

• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass.
• An eye for detail and precision in work.
• Ability to set up machinery for fabricating.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean environment. The typical schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours available on Friday through Sunday. Benefit from a stable and supportive work environment with no travel requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
