Hypower, LLC. Is looking for a Welder / Fabricator / Pipe fitter for our Commercial Electrical Division Prefabrication shop.

The Welder / Fabricator / Pipe fitter shall be responsible for accurately building and assembling of electrical conduit assemblies and support systems. These assemblies are designed and built for specific projects in house using a variety of fabrication techniques. This position will report to the Prefabrication Production Manager to ensure schedule dates and quality standards are met. The wage range for this position is $24/hr - $30/hr based on experience and qualifications. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand detailed fabrication drawings prior to fabrication.
• Welding (mainly MIG)
• Fabricate sections of electrical conduit support assemblies utilizing, Steel square tubing, Rebar, Metallic and PVC electrical conduit, Unistrut, and threaded rod.
• Prepare materials from a cut list prior to fabrication.
• Cut, thread, and bend Electrical conduits.
• Verify accuracy and track progress throughout each build.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand detailed fabrication drawings.
• Excellent ability to measure and calculate angles and cut lengths.
• Meticulous & Thorough with handling details.
• Takes ownership of tasks & work area.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift 50-75# independently regularly.
• Forklift Experience.
• Safety conscientious
