We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting processes within our small team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our accounting operations.

Job Description:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play an essential role in managing and optimizing our accounting functions specific to our industry. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional who is deeply involved in day-to-day accounting tasks and processes. You will work closely with our accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and reconciliations
- Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor and control inventory accounting, including cost allocation, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes related to manufacturing financials.
- Stay updated on industry-specific accounting practices and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Sage 500
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis specific to manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
