The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Chemical Operator II to join our Solids Production team. This position will be based in our Burnet facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems. These systems require troubleshooting often. Will be working inside of Glove Boxes with proper PPE. The Glove Boxes also need troubleshooting on a consistent basis. Run stations that dry/morph/pressure reduction on our units. Do all paperwork/SAP with minimal errors. Participate in Cycle Counts, Safety Tool Box Reviews and JSA's. Will engage in monthly safety meetings, CIP, and observations/inspections, 5S and more. Cross Train on all processes. Must possess troubleshooting skills.

Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 on Night shift once fully trained and certified.

What You'll Do

• Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controls;

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment;

• Sample, fill, and inspect final products.

• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;

• Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product;

• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;

• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;

• Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;

• Propose and implement process improvements

• Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts

What We Seek

• 1+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus

• Previous chemical handling experience

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus;

• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;

• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;

• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks;
