CK is looking to hire a Class E Delivery Driver for local delivery to customer sites. This route is local and will allow the driver to return home every evening! The Delivery Driver is responsible for the correct, timely, and safe delivery of products to CK production facilities and to customer locations. This individual represents the company in a professional manner while interacting with customers on product, delivery, pricing, or other business-related needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver products to customers while abiding by load safety, DOT, and general safe driving guidelines as well as CK standard operating procedures.
• Exhibit a courteous and professional image to others at all times.
• Complete shipping papers concerning deliveries.
• Maintain the proper cleanliness of assigned vehicles and carefully review preand post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate repair needs and issues to the Distribution Manager and Fleet Manager.
• Load and unload cylinders/product supplies from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all required cylinders and dry ice bins are bar coded properly.
• Conform to uniform and safety equipment policies.
• Communicate with customers and relay pertinent information back to the
manager.
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper
personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
• Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
• Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a current Class E license (Chauffeur License)
• Must have a good driving record exhibited by state MVR reports.
• Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.
• Capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports.
• Vision is correctable to within normal range for vehicle driving and completion of records.
• The ability to lift products and materials of varied sizes and weights up to 50 lbs and move larger items up to 500 lbs without assistance.
• Capable of working in diverse and often times unpleasant weather conditions.
• Ability to drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks, as well as with a team to ensure the success of the department.

EQUIPMENT UTILIZED
The following is a list of some of the types of equipment that an employee in this position may be required to operate. This list is not all-inclusive.
• Company truck and lift gate
• Forklift
• Hand cart
• Bar coding scanner
• Various hand tools

REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT
All proper safety equipment must be worn according to company policies and regulations including safety glasses, safety boots, and ear protection.
