Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design AutoCAD Drafter to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating interior design concepts into precise technical drawings, supporting project development from conceptualization to execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on diverse projects including remodeling, renovation, lighting design, and construction, utilizing advanced drafting and design software to bring innovative interior spaces to life. Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and detailed CAD drawings for interior design projects using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure designs meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents.
• Incorporate color theory principles and lighting design considerations into drafting work to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and client requirements while maintaining high-quality accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with AutoCAD is required.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, remodeling, renovation, and construction processes.
• Knowledge of project management practices related to contracts, budgeting, sales, and lighting sales is a plus.
• Excellent drafting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate concepts into detailed technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
• Prior experience in interior design or related fields such as lighting sales or remodeling projects is desirable.
• A degree or certification in Interior Design or Drafting is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Work Location: Remote
