Our Private Equity (PE) team is currently seeking an Investment Manager (IM) to provide leadership and analysis in constructing PE’s strategic and tactical investment approach and drive our CalPERS mission.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide leadership and analysis in constructing PE’s strategic and tactical investment approach.
  • Regularly review and monitor the portfolio composition, the investment pipeline, new investments made, and performance analytics such as PME (Public Market Equivalent), TVPI (Total Value to Paid-In), DPI (Distributed to Paid-In Capital), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), TWR (Time-Weighted Return), and market dynamics.
  • Conduct due diligence on proposed investments by evaluating terms, financial statements, legal documents, partnership agreements, and other economic characteristics of investment alternatives, as well as monitor manager relationships. 
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite per week.
