Job Description

Lean Six Sigma Instructor (C) Location Remote : Emory Continuing Education is seeking a Lean Six Sigma instructor to work with its Corporate Learning Solutions team. This person will facilitate Lean Six Sigma trainings (Lean Continuous Improvement, White Belt, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt). Class Format and Curriculum:

• Most of the classes are online. They are presented on a hybrid format (majority of classwork is done asynchronously with a 90-minutes live lecture once a week).
• On occasion we do get requests for in-person, on-site boot camps (4 ½ day live trainings).
• Curriculum has already been developed. You may be asked to help modify it to client's needs. This is usually done by including industry specific examples.

Primary tasks include:

• Instruct lean six sigma training requests as needed by the University's business, industry, government, and non-profit clients.
• Provide engaging instruction by fulfilling requirements and incorporating life experiences.
• Pay attention to detail, be self-directed, and task oriented.
• Demonstrate analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Work collaboratively with a wide variety of personnel, including technical and non-technical personnel.

Requirements are:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree proffered.
• Must hold certification as a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
• Previous training or teaching experience preferred.
• Background in manufacturing, healthcare, and/or education helpful.

Other Information:

• Since most of our clients want their teams trained during traditional work hours (8am-5pm), we are seeking instructors with daytime availability.
• Contract position.
• Part-time, as needed position.
• Open to hiring instructors who do not live within the state of Georgia.
