Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role is critical in facilitating communication between various stakeholders and maintaining project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for project management.
• Manage project budgets and assist with financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including USACE and NAVFAC standards.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or assistant project management in construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Familiarity with federal projects preferred, particularly with USACE and NAVFAC.
• Experience in commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
