Job Description

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer III to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.

The selected candidate will provide the capability to research, design, develop, acquire, produce, and provide life-cycle support for the Navy's Electronic Warfare systems. This Core Equity encompasses and supports all surface shipboard electronic detection and guidance devices including electronic surveillance measures (ESM), electronic protection (EP), electronic countermeasures (ECM) and electronic attack (EA).

Responsibilities Include:

• Architect and design enterprise-level network solutions that set new industry standards.
• Lead major network projects and initiatives, ensuring success from concept to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network engineering team.
• Collaborate with other departments to align network strategy with business objectives.
• Stay current with emerging network technologies and trends to keep us at the forefront.
• Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks.
• Plans, designs, installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, modifies, and supports network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree)
• 12+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expert knowledge of network architecture and design principles.
• Extensive experience with network security and compliance standards.
• Experience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCIE or equivalent.
• Master’s degree and/or Ph.D
• Experience with network automation and orchestration to streamline operations.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environments to support modern infrastructures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide teams.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovation across the organization.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
