We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .

If selected you will:

  • Understands complex systems, particularly interfaces and interdependencies
  • Able to apply model-based systems engineering best practices to developing models of systems Experienced developing interface control documents
  • Experienced with software development and architectures Experienced with autonomous systems - Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
  • Experience with software verification and validation processes Experience with complex distributed systems
  • Experience with developing software using C/C++ in a Linux environment Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG
  • Experience with web-based collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools such as, Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, SharePoint Strong evidence of success in highly collaborative projects/environments
  • Ability to succeed in fast-paced environments
  • Must be flexible, open to new challenges in a dynamic environment
  • Possess strong technical expertise combined with verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision
  • Must be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic Must have highly developed coordination and organization skills
  • Excellent communicator, particularly written communication and visual diagram creation Scripting languages such as Python
  • Agile software development
  • NASA software and systems development standards
  • NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software including the Core Flight System (CFS)software infrastructure
