Position Overview:


The Tax Preparer is responsible for guiding clients or employers through the tax preparation process and ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.


Tax Preparer Job Details :

• Schedule: Offers a Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 days from home. Full Time and Part Time schedules available!
• Pay Rate: $33.65- $48.07 Per Hour

Tax Preparer Job Description:

1. Informing clients or employers on the tax preparation process.
2. Collecting relevant financial records, including pay stubs and income statements
3. Inputting data from financial records into tax return software or databases
4. Using applicable federal, state and local tax law to determine deductions and how much each client will pay or earn on the return
5. Completing and filing tax documents with appropriate agencies, like the IRS, state and local government entities
6. Acting as a representative for clients with applicable agencies as required
7. Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business

Tax Preparer Job Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of cooperate, partnership, or 1040 tax preparing.
2. Computer skills including emails and documentation.
3. CPA experience not required but preferred.
4. Ultra Tax experience not required but preferred.
5. Great communication skills.
